Do your cats wear a collar or not? A friend of mine was recently quite shocked that mine don't wear collars. I went to the pet store and there were hundreds of types! Not just different colours- but different materials, some were stretchy, some had these clip fasteners and some had buckles, some had no elastic in them and some seemed all elastic, there were flea collars and some had bells on, some had tags - I was pretty overwhelmed so ended up coming home with nothing.

So do your cats wear a collar, if so, what type do you recommend?

I used to have my cat wear a collar when she was a baby but as she grew out of it I just never replaced it. Then when a couple years went by and I moved to a new city and bought a collar she hated it, so I just never put one on her. She's an indoor cat and I haven't had an issue with her escaping so I don't foresee getting a collar anytime soon. My vet suggested micro chipping animals as a good option in case they get lost.
