The bug one catches birds...next door stupidly have a bird table! She caught a huge pigeon once but we got it off her and took it to vets. Saved quite a few birds actually.

Not sure you can stop them. If you seem them watching them then make a loud noise to scare the bird and then tell them off. That's what I do and she hadn't caught one on a while...just bugs lol. She leaves them on the step for us too.
