Never! Since I have been adopting them from shelters both back in IL and AZ I even have to sign a paper saying they will be kept indoors. It is much healthier and safer and in some places like Enya said you can even shoot them. I believe in sheltering, babying and spoiling my guys and never let them out in the big nasty world.
