My cat is an indoor cat, but if the weather is nice enough, I let him out on a leash. We have a lot of strays in the area, and I always feel like I have to watch my cat so having him on a leash is just easier. He spends most of his time outside in the summer but doesn't meow to go out or anything. I am also afraid that my cat will get hit by a car so having him on a leash just helps me breath easier.
