Whatever happened to just having a drink when you felt thirsty? Thirst is one of the body's ways of reminding you that dehydration is bad for you. Everyone is different. Some people will need to drink more water than others. Seems obvious to me. Different heights, different weights and different ages will all require different intakes, surely?

There is no perfect amount and any Doctor that says there is definitely didn't learn about it at med school. New age aqua-mythology gone mad if you ask me. Just have a drink when you need one and be done with it. I don't see too many Aussies keeling over because they aren't drinking enough water (although I know plenty who keel over because they drink too much alcohol).
