It's quite common to feel lethargic the first couple of weeks. Your body is used to using a fast acting fuel source... glucose. When that's no longer available, it will struggle at first. But give your body time to produce the enzyme necessary to use fatty acids for fuel and you'll get your energy back. I will still have days where I feel like my legs are made of concrete. Other days, I don't have that. Be sure you're taking a multi-vitamin and getting plenty of water throughout the day. Dehydration will drag your energy level down, too. Also... make sure you're really getting all 20g of carbohydrate each day.

During this time, it's ok to cut back on your workout routine. Listen to your body and do what you can.
