Just found this, anybody else as hyped as I am for season three now?!

The Governor, a major character from The Walking Dead’s graphic novels who is the vicious leader of Woodbury(A small settlement of survivors) and also becomes one of Rick’s(Andrew Lincoln) greatest foes, was finally revealed in this image of a scene from season 3 of the hit AMC series, The Walking Dead. TVGuide.com gets the credit for this find.

Since fimling and production began on season 3, fans have been given quite a bit of information surrounding the well-anticipated third outing for Rick and the gang. Fans have been getting a lot of details from Robert Kirkman and the rest of the crew on what they can expect to see when the new season begins this October on AMC.

After a long season on Hershel’s farm this past season, fans are certainly eager to see the series move past the slower part of the story line that led to the death of numerous characters, so The Walking Dead can now introduce new players, such as the sword-weilding Michonne(Danai Gurira) and the Governor (David Morrissey).
