I was leaning towards renting; I honestly don't think many 20 yr olds would be responsible enough to own a home, not with the taxes, insurance and upkeep.

I guess it depends on where you live. My daughter (23) and son-in-law (26) bought their home about 2 1/2 years ago. Unfortunately, it flooded but the repairs are almost done!!!
