Wow - you caught me by surprise..cool a real discussion... Well - for one, it seems the right things have happened here...the people directly responsible have been fired/forced to resign...not promoted, re-assigned or allowed to retire with full benefits...a disgrace has taken place, therefore those responsible should be disgraced. This will go a long way in helping to deal with troop morale - at least they will see that the superiors that allowed the place to fall into such condition have been severely punished. Second...is to admit that we have failed. Failed in leadership, failed in military command, and finally as a nation where everyone is so caught up in the next sit-com that we didn't even know this was happening. Third...there should be praise to the media outlet that brought this to light. Fourth...just how many of these places are there? I for one would GLADLY have our tax dollars go to building new, modern facilities wit the very best equipment possible...hell I would GLADLY donate a considerable sum of my own money if it would help.
