Hillary Clinton's lack of diclosure of her activities with a charity, activites that permit large tax write-offs, is made public. She claims that it was an oversight on her part, an oversight since 2001.

Other members of Congress have had similar "oversights". These oversights don't seem to get rectified until they are made public. The ramifications for ethics violations are close to zip with the current committees. It seems that our politicians should just do the right thing in the first place when it come to the rules, not wait until it is made public and just brush it off as an oversight. Not rectifying an oversight because it has not been made public doesn't seem too ethical on its face, but not surprising.
