its all about scratching backs......

That's a good point. I'm starting to wonder why people bother with being identified with a party. We should focus on what we want as citizens and make the politicians work for our votes rather than always picking a certain party as if either is really concerned with it's principles rather than a bunch of individuals that only care about their careers.
