If the Pilot had a gun the stewartness can alert the pilot on the phone when the hijacker is near the cockpit door and then the pilot has a gun opens the door and then the hijacker gets shot.

OR!!!! The pilot can fly the plane while the 152 passengers throw boiling water at the hijackers crotch!
Now THERES an idea.
