What more annoys me is that Congress allows themselves to smoke in their offices whilst banning it for others from choosing to do so.
I've always felt smoke bans on private property was intrusive nanny statism, but Congressional offices are public property and yet they allow themselves an exception. I don't have a problem with them allowing it in their offices, but it is awfully hypocritical to tell others, especially those on private property, to not do so by law. Then again, hypocrisy and self-given special privileges come hand in hand with politicians.
