but that doesn't mean I am running for the remote to get "news" from Jon Stewart either...

I understand what you're saying. Entertainers like Stewart, O'Reilly, and Couric (her show is garbage and can't possibly be considered news) shouldn't be relied upon to spread factual information. They aren't actually obligated to research the facts like journalists. Ironically many journalists nowadays act like they are also no longer obligated to do research on a topic.
