Iran been threatening people for a long time now....I say hand them their ass on a plate and move on.

Huh? He said he would defend himself if attacked. Duh. Who wouldn't? He saw what happened in Iraq under US oppression and figured he didn't want his people to suffer the same fate, so he claims he will defend himself if attacked. How is that equivalent to threatening people? Wouldn't a threat be something like labeling a country as part of the "axis of evil" and thoroughly destroying that country some time later in a war of aggression and conquest? I think I'd rather have a neighbor with a gun in his home for self-defense than a crazed, meth-addicted vigilante who killed the inhabitants of all of my neighbors and I am next in line.
