They have a right to just like Krushev respond to JFK aggression with threats. But the russians knew what would happen if they crossed that blockade.So Krushev order the navy turn back.So Iran better think who has the better weapons.Who can wipe out a nation in less than 30 minutes.So dont attack america and you have nothing to worry about.

Yikes. You are quite over-confident. Reminds a bit of the warmongers in '03 who thought Iraq would be over in six week to a few months at most.

I think the very fist thing that Iran would do is cut off the very vulnerable supply line to american forces in Iraq. (did you know this supply line is run by citizens and corrupt corporations, entirely dependent on the good will of Iraqis?) Thousands of your soldiers would be left abandoned in Iraq awaiting slaughter with no ammo, no fuel, and no food.

Then they would concentrate on American interests across the region.

Oil would become very,very expensive all of a sudden.

And just maybe, they would find a way to attack America at home.

Perhaps this would be too much for america to take and you would obliterate Iran with nukes.

How ironic, you would go to war to prevent iran from getting nukes and using them, only to end up using them yourselves in the mass murder of millions of Iranians.

And the world would still be a shithole, and america would be everybody's enemy.
