The Bald Eagle is on the threatened species list and needs protection. You can call me names all you want, but that still leaves our national bird in jeopardy by the Bush administration.

I have not called you any names and I don't appreciate the accusation.

Please reread the thread, I do not have a problem with the Bald Eagle being protected. But if it is no longer endangered or threated then it does not qualify to be on either lists. If the Bald Eagle is removed from the lists then another means of protection is required. And I agree that verbiage needs to be added to the current proposal.

Edit: But this is hardly a issue that warrants your usual "Bush hates America" BS.
