To succeed last night he had to turn public opinion around on Iraq, and I don't think he did that. McCain drove a few nails into the coffin of his presidential ambitions by sleeping through the speech.

Actually McCain did nothing of the sort. He had already driven a lot of moderates away with his Iraq policy. I was a firm McCain supporter until he started making this a huge issue, and I suppose sooner or later it was bound to happen anyway. Now I have to find another candidate I can support. It sure as hell isn't going to be Clinton, or Obama, or Brownbeck.

Oh well back to the drawing board.
