Nice try but in 50 years and having traveled all over this country I have never heard anyone use the pronunciation nukular before for the word nuclear. It is a minor issue I agree but lets be honest. THis isn't a creek/crick or root beer/rut beer thing. This is a Bushism pure and simple.

It is a minor issue, but I am being honest. It's a recognized pronunciation, documented in the dictionary.
