In a perfect world, were people don't get too greedy, we wouldn't need minimum wage laws. But in the real world, because people can't agree on what "too greedy" is, we need a minimum wage law.

We don't "need" one. Simply because if companies offer too little pay no one will work for them AND no one will have the money to buy their products or services.
