All "minimum wage" jobs do have competition. They tend to be warehouse or assembly type jobs. And others of course. It is simplistic, because at that level of employment, business is very simplisitc. If you've stocked soda in a warehouse, you can stock wire and cable and so on. If you've driven a forklift, you can drive it anywhere.
True to a certain point. However, there has to be a certain level at which, free market forces/cometition does not interfere with people's ability to feed and clothe themselves. Moving that line up after 10 years is fair, IMO.
