Yes, but it is not nothing either. Can someone tell me what the Democrats are offering?

How about using this plan as a starting point for discussion versu just beating it down
In the wealthiest, most powerful nation on earth, no one should have to choose between taking their child to a doctor and paying the rent. Democrats are committed to making sure every single American has access to affordable, effective health care coverage. We want to fix the disastrous Medicare Part D and ensure our seniors can afford their prescription drugs.

We also believe in investing in life saving stem cell and other medical research that offers real hope for cures and treatment for millions of Americans.

The Democratic Party Wow you'd think they'd have something better than that on the official agenda.

It's all well and good to try to figure out a way where everyone can have healthcare, but it really doesn't address the issue of why people don't have it in the first place. The problem is it is skyrocketing with no end in sight.

On average, the amount workers pay toward premiums has risen 84% since 2000, while wages are up 20% and inflation 18%. That is also from the democrat website. In my opinion we need to either get the price down or at least slow down the cost. Then I think we would be in a better position to make judgements and decisions on trying to make healthcare an option for everyone.

Bush's proposal sounds like a short term band-aid fix that will cause more problems than it will fix.
