Actually, it does, because it will serve to encourage people to purchase their own health care insurance, thereby moving things from the government sector to the private sector, thus fostering competition, thus lowering costs.

Socialism is a failure, everywhere it's tried. Including centralized, central state-run healthcare such as the Socialist Hillary Clinton continues to advocate.
