So you are ok with a brutal dicator ruling a nation with an iron fist--only if he keeps the country under control? Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and the other monsters of the 20th century did this--are you o.k. with their legacies? China now looks peaceful, growing, and there is no open civil war. However, beneath the eye of the press are people who disagree being tortured, beaten, and killed. Are you cool with that? People dont seem to be cool when topics like this involve the U.S. or Western Europe. But really really could give a fucking shit about it when it happens in other countries right?

Ask the French? About what? They also are on a continent where they are not wanted (Africa). Should we also ask them about Oil for Food, providing dicators with weapons (like the U.S. has done), and other shit around the globe. No, we shouldnt have to ask the French anything because they are more guilty in world history than we are.

You're missing the point, which is this: if you're going to screw around with something as precariously balanced as Iraq was, you'd best be sure that you understand what it is you're dealing with and that you're fully prepared and capable of addressing any and all difficulties that arise.

Talk about fools rushing in where angels fear to tread! The cavalier, cocksure smugness that those bastards approached the situation with is appalling, not to mention a profound embarrassment to our nation.
