You're missing the point, which is this: if you're going to screw around with something as precariously balanced as Iraq was, you'd best be sure that you understand what it is you're dealing with and that you're fully prepared and capable of addressing any and all difficulties that arise.

Talk about fools rushing in where angels fear to tread! The cavalier, cocksure smugness that those bastards approached the situation with is appalling, not to mention a profound embarrassment to our nation.
Im not missing the point. Yeah, we all know the U.S. should have planned this better. However, dont take your hats off for the French, Russians, Chinese, or Germans. They were "wise" because they made money in Iraq and have a long history of it. Not a single one of those four nations today cares about the cultural differences of nations. They do the exact same as the U.S. does--Germany being a bit more innocent.
