Your title state that this is something the Democrats have already done. When did they do it? There are any number of sources showing that Democrats are responsible for just as much pork as Republicans. Why didnt they stop their own pork when they were in the minority? Given that they didnt, why would they now?

Yep, this is a good question and it remains to be seen just how accurate the story "WILL" be.
