It sounds to me that this is just another attempt to undermine the authority of the Executive Branch by chipping away at the edges and then building precedence to go after more significant chunks. Does anyone know for sure if Congressional visitor logs and SCOTUS visitor logs are also subject to the same level of scrutiny that is being asked of the Whitehouse?

Call me old-fashioned, but I would have ruled that Nixon should have been able to keep his tapes private, as well.
