As the sun sets on the American Empire, with the dollar in retreat, along with American power and prestige, are we ready to take our place as "just another country", rather than the world's dominant power?

I don't think I'll live long enough to see it. In fact my children probably won't. The US will undoubtedly have to give up its position as the world's sole superpower. But there is no way to predict how many generations will pass before the US will be "just another country".
