I've gotta admit that, being in a building that was specifically targeted in a terror plot in the past, the thought of terrorism briefly entered my mind.

It was right after, "did someone just knock over a row of file cabinets?", and right before, "that had to be an earthquake - wow, cool, lived through my first earthquake".
Yea, if I had been in DC the thought may have crossed my mind. Only ever felt one other earthquake in this area and it's a pretty unique feeling and noise, so the memories came back pretty quick. This one was way bigger, though!
