Now we get to see how his record in Texas translates to the National scene. It was a pretty good speech all-in-all. I could hear a little whispery Reagan in there along with the Dubya accent.

Don't be fooled by this democrat posing as a republican.

Perry worked for Gore's campaign in Texas in 1988, he has said we should consider sending our military in Mexico to help with that country's problems, and he issued an order for an inoculation for girls in the 6th grade in the state of Texas.

These are all signs to me that he's a democrat.

The fact that the MSM is expressing faux horror over him is nothing to me but the deliberate polishing of this leftist turd into a republican by the MSM as they generate news stories posturing him as an extremist in order to make him the choice for the RNC. Once he gets it, the people in power will win because no matter who wins (Obama or Perry), the people in power get their man in the WH.
