I'm sad to see every one of them claim they would refuse to negotiate on ANY tax increases, no matter how small or how many spending cuts came with them. That kind of absolute refusal to negotiate is politically untenable. You either end up breaking your promise once in office or you cause gridlock. You can't be a politician and not compromise; the goal is to make good compromises in good faith.
