Newt did a very good job tonight. He showed himself to be a real pro.

I think Bachman came off really well and established herself on principles.

I think Cain did an outstanding job although he lacks polish.

Romney was slick and did no damage to himself nor did he let anyone else damage him....he also avoided answering question like Muhammad Ali avoided jabs.

Pawlenty came off as kind of an ass.

Santorum and Huntsman basically showed why they can (and have been) be ignored.

Ron Paul was at his Pauliest tonight. I don't think I've ever seen a guy with so much intelligence manage to come off as such a screwball.

Personally, my support for Bachman was reinforced and my respect for Cain went up a notch.
ahoy Lutherf,

me lone observation after watchin' the debates (i wasn't fully focused, i was readin' a book also), i was shocked at how...well...low profile Mr. Huntsman is. i heard some good things about him, and a number 'o folks who hew to the right here on USPO had also been optmistic 'bout that fella.

i mean, i'd read some analysis 'bout his entrance, and how he was the candidate that Mr. Obama ought to really fear...

he seemed like he wasn't even thar.

whats goin' on with him?

aye?
