Personally, this is a non-issue. Our school system removed "under God" from the pledge when I was in 7th grade or so, and then by 9th grade it wasn't even a requirement to say it at all (and a lot of people didn't, they tended to use this extra time for school stuff).

The addition of "Hail Satan" at the end was a bit strange, but whatever. The whole idea of a "pledge of allegiance" is a bit strange to begin with.
