Well, the charges could potentially carry 25 years in prison just at the Federal level alone, so most of them tend not to do it within the US, and that's not inclusive of any mail/wire fraud or state charges etc. Likely they wouldnt get stung with the lot, but i'm pretty sure we'll see an example made out of whoever was responsible for this.
