I imagine, once it's shown that their only intention was to mess with Fox, they'll just get some kind of fine or something. I don't know what the legal ramifications are for hacking an account that doesn't involve secrets or someone's financial security.

If, and its a big if, the hacker[s] can be identified and are within US jurisdiction they could be facing very serious federal charges. I would bet they would try to make a case of conspiracy.

But don't hold your breath on them being identified.
