I think you've missed the "America vs the World," thread.

Pakistan was in on this from the beginning. They HAVE to talk tough now to mollify their own radicals. Fer Crissake what kind of country lets two helicopters cross their border, pull off a raid on their main military city and leave after 45 minutes? Who do you think is in charge in Pakistan, Bush?

I agree with Steve they've probably known where he was all the time. Thing is, so did we, but Bush was just too much of a tough talking wuss to push the issue and probably thought we might find him "useful" someday. My own bet is that Obama timed it a little early for the elections but will still come out alright.
