Ensign, "said in a statement that he has done nothing wrong and will not subject his family to more public scrutiny."

Seems to me a US Senator ought to be held to a higher standard than a baseball player. Taxpayer dollars spent to investigate drug use by ball players might be better put towards investigating Ensign as well as other members of Congress who believe they are above the law (sadly, it seems they are correct).
