The other factor that is finally dawning on Republicans is that the TEA Party folks are running out of steam. Tax Day was this weekend. For the past 2 years TEA Party rallies have drawn large crowds but this year the rallies have numbered in the tens instead of in the thousands. Republicans looking for TEA Party support are about to be left stranded on the beach with no one around them to fan 'em and feed 'em. My bet is that by the time the Iowa caucuses get here, the TEA Party will just be a memory and their stuff will just become collector's items for collectors 25 years from now.
You wish. Remember the mid-terms, in 2012 the Senate will be controlled by the Pubs and Obama will be GONE.
