-4 trillion in deficit reduction
-keep spending levels low, but wont sacrifice his core priorities (trains and windmills)
-cut defense
-reduce healthcare spending by reducing spending through obamacare
-social security, no details
-raise taxes on the rich, reform tax code
-debt failsafe - if debt isnt falling, more spending cuts, more taxes on the rich
