Well you have to sort out what the Republicans are wanting to cut. Ryan just came out and laid out his spending cut program of over 6 trillion in the next ten yrs. So it's right in front for everyone to see. The Dem's as of yet have no spending cut plan. In fact the debt commission that Obama hired he threw their suggestions in the trash. So much for spending cuts from the Dem's, there is none.

Yeah, right, got it.

That doesn't mean that the Republican plan has to be stupid, idiological or petty or that they have to act like a bunch of fucking babies behind it.

I also don't care what kind of bullshit anyone has on the agenda over the next ten years. Great that they're planning for it, good initiative, cheers and all that - but it doesn't make a damn bit of difference right now and certainly isn't something to hold up as a major accomplishment when you can't even get shit right now.

"Hey guys, we're all fucked up now but if you follow my 10 year plan everything will be peachy".

I'd love to go home tonight and lay out my 10 year plan for buying a Conquest 345, and it would be good one, but if I tried to convince my wife that buying a boat at the expense of paying our bills was actually a good thing she'd kick me in the ass.

Understand that I'm not one of those guys who picks a side and then acts like "we've" got all the answers and the other side just wants to kill kittens. My comments in this thread are not intended to reflect any credit at all upon the Democrats. I'm just beating up on Republicans here because it's a GOP thread and the GOP deserves it. I'm addressing Democrat intransigence and stupidity in other threads.
