Interesting.

It looks to me like this never could have happened if the Dems were present. The rewrite never would have made it through committee.
No dems are the minority in this state--they fled the state to avoid a vote on this issue. Charles Krauthammer saw something in this and called for the Republican held state legislature to do this manuever.

Again--the sticking point in the negotiation was the union still insisting on forced membership. I think that finally sent Governor Walker and the state legislature over the edge--and they did this manuver.

No one should be "forced" to join a union. Bascially--taxpayer dollars going to government workers--dues to the union were automatically deducted from their pay-checks. And to me--there is something wrong with that picture.
