Will he had the option all along and he did not use it until now, why did he do this?

I know you can't answer because you don't have a clue.

But you can throw out, even claiming it as fact, the statement that he did it cause he's a nice guy.

If you can make an apeshit crazy claim like that (attributing it as fact) I'm not going to feel too bad making an educated guess based on the fact that his poll numbers went to hell, he PROPOSED a compromise to the democrats and the TIME it has taken.

Still beats the hell out of making a factual assertion that he did it cause he's nice lol. I mean, at least back your ridiculous factual statements with substance before criticizing others.
