Well, unfortunately, there actually are still honor killings and various barbaric practices by Muslims in America and the rest of the First World. However, again, these things are anomalies and not the norm.

As pram mentioned, there are Mormons and Christians that do barbaric things as well and of course, they aren't the norm either.

But yeah, this is more a problem with the evolutionary stage of a culture than it is with a specific religion.

What barbaric things have the Mormons and Christians done? In this century please.

I have said to every newbie on here who heads in the direction of the crusadesd: Don't throw the crusades up to justify islamic terrorism. To do so you are saying that if your grandmother killed my grandmother then it is OK for me to kill you.

And you can forget Timothy McVeigh. He was an agnostic.
