I just love how a conservative congressman resigns in disgrace and some of the conservative members of the Forum are trying to redirect the issue to liberals. I can just imagine what their response would have been if it had have been a Democratic congressman. I guess hypocrisy isn't restricted to members of Congress....

Look at the responses from one of our more vocal libs here. If that's not verbal masturbation, nothing is.

What the guy did was shameful, and he did the right thing by resigning. What else should we say? Should we say how, clearly, the Democratic party is the party of virtue and morality, and the Republican party should be abolished?

See, the difference between intelligent people and liberals is that we see an issue for what it is, and we move on. Liberals, on the other hand, pen manifestos bemoaning the failings of an entire party based on the actions of a single individual.

And, since clearly you're unable to surmise what the conservative reaction would've been, let me hold your hand and help you out: Had it been a Democratic Congressman, my reaction would've been exactly the same. It was shameful, and he did the proper thing in resigning...
