He ought to resign for just being stupid for using the Internet alone. It's common sense that the Internet was not designed for privacy no matter how many safeguards one places upon it. Heck, it was designed for the opposite purpose of privacy, namely linking people to the world. Yet, in divorce cases, I consistently see stray cat spouses opening an account on match.com and other dating sites, adultfriendfinder.com if they also like the 'swinging' lifestyle, etc. Then again, if the public representation is a phony one such as being a 'family values' person with any self-righteous streaks (I'm not sure how he presented himself on 'family values' issues as I have not researched him, although he is married) then it's a good thing that they get caught.
