I listened to a podcast of Clint Richardson (of Corporation Nation fame) posted by PatColo just now, and he talks quite a bit about ALEC. Judging from the response on this thread, there is a low level of interest about ALEC. I think that's because the OP is a long read about an obscure topic. This is an important topic that will make slaves of all of us to the career politicians and corporate hacks like the Koch brothers if we don't pay attention and understand what it does and how.
