Are you a mormon too, druid? Just curious, considerin' all the Bible Quotin' going on t'day on this forum.

Say, buddy, if I got something you want or need, just ask, and I'll see what I can do to assist you. However, if you were to be completely candid about Clarke's Commentary on that 10th commandment, you would need to use HIS definition of who is my "neighbor," which if memory serves means only another Jew in Old Covenant times and texts, would have to double check on the exact word used in the old texts.....

So, even tho', I'm not a jew, coveting is just too much hard work and waste of time and energy which could be put to better use.

So, let's re-examine your quotation, in light of the fact I'm not "jewish" shall we?

"You shall not covet your neighbor's wife...", NOPE CAN'T HAVE HELEN!
"and you shall not desire your neighbor's house...." NOPE, yours looks way better by comparison, I can tell you that right now!
"his field..." NOPE, NO FIELD...got some yard that needs landscaping, but that's about it there...
"or his male servant..." ---NOPE, no servants...either gender...
"or his female servant..." -----already covered above.
"his ox..."---no field, therefore no plow animals, let alone a big plopsky ox-ski
"or his donkey...." ----well, scratching my chin here.......ayup, you can have Jim Willie ...best I can do there...i remember speaking about that jackass earlier
"or anything that belongs to your neighbor." ........ah, now there's the kicker.

Nothing belongs to me...

"....this world is not my home,
I'm just a passin' through,
my treasures are laid up,
somewhere beyond the blue...
"

so, .......everything I've "got" is on Heavenly loan already, yes, even dear Helen!

Whatelse do you need or want? Wrench? Chainsaw? Ladder? Lawnmower? Nope, no sledgehammer, sorry! I borrowed that earlier this week from barber Tom, and already took it back to 'im. LOL
