I've done genealogical research at Mormon facilities, and they've never made an attempt to convert me. Of course, the last time I was there, I was about 12 years old. And now, such research can be done much faster and more efficiently on the Internet, namely using materials that Mormon researchers have compiled.

Mormons may be weird, but aside from Mitt Romney, they are mostly good people, and their efforts in genealogical research in general have been a boon to anyone interested in their own family history.
I was going to ask if anyone had ever used their facilities. Thank you.

I have found that every mormon I have known have been very nice, honest people. I have not known that many though.

I do find it ironic that the very people who could unlock the mystery of Barry's birthplace happen to be mormon folks..
