so are there any real pictures of the object or just paintings from peoples imaginations?

Seems to me the "photos" show divers. Surely they would have taken photos. Why can't we see those? I need more patience.

The black stuff is interesting. I would like to see that. I had some experience with black stuff some 30+ years ago. That experience has stuck with me all this time. It was strange stuff indeed.
