I would start with REAL human history like the Magna Carta. Then the Articles of Confederation, Federalist/Anti Federalist papers, and then the US Constitution and BoR.
You MUST stand under what the idea of America was founded on, before you can ever make any sense of what is being done.
Of course, all of the famous quotes from our founders about banking, will make a whole lot more sense.
What good does understanding the Federal Reserve do, if you do not have a firm understanding of sound money, historically speaking?
I like to start people with the very foundations of this country. The rest can be built on top of that idea:
The individual is superior to the collective.
